My model looks like JED8430 but I can't find the model # on the unit itself.

The fan just came on by itself, I tried to remove the switch by removing the

top two screws and the two on the side but the plate doesn't want to come

out. I'm sure it probably needs a new switch, any suggestions?

Continuous clicking from an igniter in the off position. I have to slightly turn the control knob towards the hi position to stop the clicking and for the light on the control knob to go off

sounds like it was turned a little past the stop point.
Pull two knobs off and examine the back side that slides onto the shaft.
Switch them and try again.
If the problem is on the same burner, the shaft may be turned past its normal stop position.
You can try turning it until it stops in the opposite direction and force it just a tiny bit more.
That was how I fixed mine.

You could try reseting the clock to the manual position.
If in Automatic the oven won't turn on until set time.

The blower won't turn off on the grill side of the stove. I changed the switch but the blower stays on.

Since I don't know your model number, I will have to give you deneric advise. Some fans have a thermostat that will activate the fan when certain temperatures are met. If yours is like that, then the thermostat could be the cause.

You could of possible got the stove top wet causing the problem. This problem although sounds like your spark ignitor module went bad.

LIGHT STAYS ON FOR HOURS BUT THE TOP HAS COOLED

if its going out, its probably ok
its not a light indicating the burner is on, rather that the glass is abcove 100 degrees and still not safe to put something on
2 hours is a bit long but it depends on how fst the surface can cool of
you can test this by trying to cool it off faster with a fan ans see what happens

Oven wont turn off i unpluged it last night and it turned back on this morning when i pluged it back in

If you have turned the on/off switch to off and the oven stays on then the on/off switch contacts have fused together inside the switch.

If it were the thermostat it would get hot but would shut down in the off position

You need a need switch as simple as that

Stove not on - but fan comes on automatically -

it sounds as if the thermostat is broke. it could be the two wires off the thermostat are after melting together. ( burning smell). the thermostat stops power going to fan when it sences below a certain degrees. but your one has been cut out of the circuit due to the two cables melting together. this means fan will constantly stay on. you need to find and replace thermostat and make sure no cables melted together. if they are then seperate and use insulating tape to re insulate.make sure circuit breaker is off while doind this
