I replaced (2) capacitors which I purchased at Fry's Electronics for $1.99 each. It took me 1 hour to complete the entire job. You must remove the cover, and disconnect processor board.

A Replacement Power Supply.

Parts: £80 - £110 depending on the model.

Labour: £40 (ish) little bit more with a 90 day warranty etc.

SOURCE: att uverse remote won't work with other devices

Yes you have to use the recommended Uverse codes, and follow the directions to enter the code. Hold the tv button down, on the Uverse remote, then with it stil held down add the OK button, let go of both, then you will see the lights at the top of Uverse remote light up, it is then ready to accept the code, it will be a four digit code, Go to [email protected], and look under TV, then programming the remote is there. Put remote Code in the att search box if you can't find it.

My Samsung blue ray wont eject DVD that is in it. It will play, stop and turn off, but won't eject DVD. I've tried everything. Not sure if I can take in apart to manual get DVD out. Samsung

There should be a small hole on the face of the dvd player, if you insert a small paper clip or wire into the hole it should eject the dvd.

Works with most Sony Players

Step 1
Unplug the power cord of the Sony Blu-ray player. Plug the power cord back in. Turn on the Sony Blu-ray player. Turn on the TV to which the Sony Blu-ray player is attached. Wait for the "No Disc" text to appear on the front of the Sony's LCD display and on the TV's screen.

Step 2
Press the "Eject" button on the remote control. Wait for the disc tray to eject itself from the front of the Sony Blu-ray player.

Step 3
Press the "Disc Info" button on the remote control. Look for a number to appear on one of the upper corners of the screen of the TV.

Step 4
Press the "Disc Info" button repeatedly until the number "9" appears on the TV's screen. This number indicates that the Sony Blu-ray player is now set for "multi-region" and will play any Blu-ray disc that is commercially made.

Step 5
Turn the Sony Blu-ray player off using the remote control. Turn the Sony Blu-ray player back on using the remote control. Press the "Eject" button on the remote control to close the disc tray. Turn the Sony Blu-ray player off using the remote control.

I just picked up the Samsung HW C560S receiver. I'm trying to run a cable box as well as a blue ray player through it connected by HDMI. Blue Ray seems to work fine but can not get picture from cable box....

When you run the cable box and the blue ray player to your receiver you use two sets or cords yes? there for you need to run two sets of cords to your TV from the receiver. Have you done this? Both the DVD and Cable box will have different inputs to the TV. Turn the cable box on and cycle through the inputs on the TV. One should pop up for the DVD and a different one for the cable. Let me know if this works.
