Why my t.v writes factory inthe screen and cannot turn to AV

Now your TV is in factory adjustment mode otherwise called a service mode. you should get out from it, and to go to normal mode, for all other function to work. For that, you have to know about how to enter, and how to exit the service mode. As now the TG is in service mode, you have to look for how to exit from it, and to set it to normal mode. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
NB: Please read and understand well, the instructions to enter the service mode, before you begin. Be very careful. Note how to "EXIT" the service mode; after entering and adjusting data. This is very important.
Type in the brand name and type of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the home page; to get the related posts easily.

Sony KV32XBR400 Video Won't Turn

1. Try this - hold the menu button down for 10 seconds. TV should power up; you will have to turn off front panel buttons on menu.

2. You can also try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works..

Tv word factory screen remove

What is the brand name to your TV? Your TV is now in service mode [factory mode] now. That is why, it shows the display 'Factory' on screen. You have to quit the service mode. Then only you can enter into its normal menu. But, entering and exiting factory mode/service mode, to different brand TVs will not be the same. Check this link. It has service mode entry and exit methods to many brand TVs. Pull up older posts there, either by its left side bar, or, view it in 'Timeslide' option. Look for the service mode entry and exit method to your brand TV. You'll get details there.

How do i get it out of factory mode without the remote

Yes, it is not possible to exit into any service mode without any remote. I've been almost 25 service mode entering and exiting on any brands since 2004 thus i said impossible to exit without a remote. Thanks for using Fixya.

Sanyo model # ds19310 16 jnch tv stuck on video chanel wont change to any other chanel volume works pat of menue works but the channel search and two other chanel menue controls are not available tv skips...

Hi there,

If you still have the Sanyo remote, you just need to press the INPUT button on the remote. The channel search and some other functions are disabled when the TV is in video/AV/game mode.

If you don't have the Sanyo remote, but you have a Universal remote which you use with the TV, look for a button labelled INPUT or SOURCE on this remote and try pressing it.

If you don't have any remote for this TV or you are using a universal remote which does not have an INPUT or SOURCE button, please reply to me from within this page for further assistance and let me know the brand and model number of any universal remote you are using. There is no option in the menu for doing this, but there a couple of methods which work on some TVs

Hope this helps.

My TV seem to be on wide screen and it shows half the picture, how do I set it up on full screen? No other material is connected to the TV

If your TV displays a black box type shade on the screen means that your TV may be set to "Text" mode. To clear the screen, select "Caption Off mode".
To do this, press "MENU" button to display menu functions on the screen. Press "channel up or channel down" button to select the function "CAPTION". Press "Volume Up or Volume Down " button to select the mode you wish. There are five modes that you can select; Caption-Off; Caption-C1; Caption-C2; Caption-T1 and Caption-T2. As no other matereial is connected to your TV, you just select "CAPTION-OFF". When done press the Menu button again to exit menu display. Ok.

Use following steps to reset channel, but I lost the sound 1. Unplug TV 2. Press Channel up and Volume up at same time, while plugging TV back in (two person job - it will pull up a service screen) 3....

img{-moz-force-broken-image-icon:1;} Same no sound issue happened to me; except I stopped at adjusting vertical size (unfortunately it seems horizontal cannot be set thru service mode; which was my original intent). Complete lost of sound signal processing; oddly enough speaker volume leveling did worked. (Eg, audio-in woks; so a big WTF?!) I suspect something to do with not recovering properly the data bus from muxing the volume input keys; ie, some kind of weird service/back-to-normal switch bug. I've waited for a couple of days for the damn thing to unlock itself out it (like some stubborn transistors seem to do); but to no avail. (BTW, only dif between TVs is that mine's a slightly smaller and cheaper model, a 19U-M100S; a minor branch out of the main line.) I'm afraid something did "burned out" and that the only real fix is to actually change the "defective" part. Had I known silly sh1t like that could happen, I obv would've not messed with it to begin with. It's just ridiculous, and lame. Besides being obsolete. In any case; I also think it's nowadays better to get a (full) digital one (wisely cost effective).
