My internet will just stop working around 12-18 hours of running. After I reset it will be back up and running for 12-18 hours. I have to keep resetting my computer to get the internet back up and running. It done this on two completely different modems, and I can't seem to find a solution. I used to have wireless usb connectors installed, but now I am back to an ethernet cable.

I have a RUUD Heat Pump Model UPPB-024JAZ the outdoor pump stopped working last week. The reset button fixed the issue but whhy does it keep going off.

To start with, the tech charged you for an hours worth of service and only pushed the button. GET YOUR HOURS WORTH!
•The outdoor coil needs to be cleaned. Turn off power at the breaker and t-stat, clean the coil with water hose
•The outdoor fan motor may be slowing down or stopping due to motor bearings dry or weak run capacitor. Any noise/squealing from motor?
•Too much freon in the system.
•A restriction in the freon system.
•A improperly installed/mismatched system
•A (kynk) in the liquid line(3/8 copper)
•A stopped up or clogged filter dryer
•A dirty indoor coil that has an expansion valve(txv) will run too cold and the valve can close near "seated"
All of these, and more, can cause a HIGH PRESSURE SWITCH to open. When yours open, you have the red button to push which resets it(the switch). I have also found that the plenum(duct box that connects to your indoor unit at the discharge air) is supposed to be tapered to the air opening size of the blower outlet but that's hard to explain. If the plenum size is the same size of your indoor unit, width and depth in the upright position, the your plenum is not "tappered"(goes from one larger size to smaller size where connected to the I.d. unit). In that scenario, the high pressure switch opens during heat operation, not cool. I know, confusing. Try cleaning your o.d. coil first. And try to get an hour of work(or close) for an hour paid. And WORK SAFE!

2006 passat starts then stalls, will not run

See if you can search around on the internet on how to reset your vehicle's computer system. It might have a faulty read based off the damage. Might be fixed by simply resetting the electronics.

P.S. On some vehicles the computer will give incorrect information just from opening your gas cap and not giving it gasoline, thus requiring a computer reset that usually happens automatically within 2 weeks.

The hour hand on my tag chronograph does not stop at 12 when you reset the chronograph

Try pulling out the crown to the first position. Then push upper and lower button simultaneously. The red stick will start moving 1 second per push. Repeat procedure until it reaches zero position, then push back the crown to the normal position.

Compressor stops at proper humidity % but the fan keeps running.

Dehumidifiers are built that way. They keep moving air so it is able to keep any change of conditions moving around the room. On a dehumidifier, it the fan stops, your unit will short cycle becasue water will naturally evaporate from the water tank and it would turn on, then off, then on then off. The way it runs now is fine. Running the fan 24 hours on your dehumidifier cost nickels a day. Just let run.

Bulova Millenia 100 m,stops running,move it to wind,starts up

When you say "wave wind" do you mean you're waving it around to wind it with the self-winding mechanism? If so, that will only keep it running briefly as you're experiencing. Manually wind the crown about 40 turns clockwise to "fill the tank" and wearing it daily will keep it topped off. Anytime you don't wear it for a day, manually wind it again. As for the cleaning, the inside of the watch doesn't get real dirty but over time the lubricants wear out and thicken which makes the watch run slowly or not as long as it has to work harder to move the gears through the thickened lubricant. A watchmaker can disassemble and clean the old lube out with solvents and then reassemble the watch with fresh lubricants.

Internet continually dropping out

There are many things that can be causing this. Like; wired/wireless, if wireless how far away from your access point or router is your pc or you may need another access point for a stronger signal. Also try moving your pc when you loose your signal. Just a little repositioning might grab a stronger signal. Your modem: Try unplugging it when this happens wait for about 1 min then plug back in. You may be in an area that's causes "bottle necking" a term used for clogged internet signals. This usually happens during weekends and peak internet usage hours. This would be a job for your internet provider. There is also a reset on your modem. If unplugging doesn't do it after all the lights have come back on and the internet light stops blinking, look for a very small hole somewhere on your modem (not router). Get an object small enough to fit into it and strong enough to add pressure. Tooth picks won't work! Now push it in (while turned on) and hold it until all the lights go off. It may seem like it takes forever, just be patient. Once all the lights go out let go of the reset; wait again for all the lights to come back on & internet light to stop blinking.
If still same problem could possibly be your ethernet/wireless card going bad but they just kind of either work or they don't.
Start keeping tract of the times/days this happens and how long your internet is down. I'd do this for 1-2 days then call your internet provider. Theres one catch with them tho, they can't see your problem or diagnose it on their end unless your down at the time you call them. You may just need another modem. But keep on them if you come to this step. They like to say "ok your good now - bye" and then you'll have the same problem again. If this happens demand a new modem. It's free...
