Question about Maxtor Personal Storage 3200 (U01E200) 200 GB Hard Drive
Try to auto detect the drive using add/remove hardware. Also make sure all cables are connected properly....and if a slave (and it's necessary) make sure it's jumpered correctly. Check to see if bios recognizes it when the system boots (hit the pause button if it's a fast system). If all this does not reveal a drive disconnect the other drive (if there is one) and try this by itself on the same connection. Make sure it's jumpered to master.
If all this fails let me know but you may have lost the drive...I assume you are able to boot and it use windows. This gets you pointed towards a solution.
