I'd like to use old drive in newer computer as a storage drive - how do I set the jumper settings on a older drive like the 12.7 GB I have that I need files off of
Assuming your drive is not a SCCI set the master to master and set this drive to slave....normally those settings are on the drive itself.
Fairly simple if you have a pin jumper, a big magnifying glass and small fingers....tweezers work best. Hope it helps...Tango
