Question about LG enV VX9900 Cellular Phone
I had the same problem. I had had the phone hooked up to my car stereo for listening to music. Thought that maybe when I had unplugged it the phone still thought the plug was there. So I plugged it back in, heard the phone through my car stereo, unplugged it and the phone works fine now.

I had the same problem, and it fixed itself when i received a text message, i don't know it if it was a coincidence or what but it works now

The problem may be a keypad flex issue - if its on warranty try to have them fix or replace it
