Sound Problems I have a Samsung DLP HDTV, Samsung V9650 DVD player, Bose 201 V speakers and Mirage woofer all connected through a Sony STR-DG800 receiver. I control all components with a Logitech Harmony universal remote. The following issues have just surfaced in the last two weeks: Speakers pop when changing TV channels. Sometimes I get an audio echo when watching TV (not consistant). When playing a DVD the only way to control audio volumn in on the front panel of the TV Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot these problems? Thank you. Lawrence Duncan Richmond, Texas

Can't get Playstation3 sound through the STR-DG800 using HMDI.

Do you have your ps3 connected to the TV with HDMI and then audo cables from the TV to the receiver? If so, you need to make sure you change the audio settings on your TV to surround sound.

Can I hook my TV directly up to Bose 201 speakers?

It depends on the TV audio output connections. Most TVs have low level audio outputs (RCA Jacks) that require a amp but some do have external speaker connections. You will have to refer to your manual or check the back of the set.
