Question about RCA D52W20 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
We were given a RCA Home Theatre TV with the model #P60752EB. The man who gave it to us said it didn't work and he usually brings it to Conn's to get it repaired. My husband was wanting to try to fix it himself......So here is the problem.........When I plugged it in to the outlet nothing happened...no power....sound.....screen blank...nothing. So as I was reading some blogs does this mean we need to buy a power plug (something) or should I go ahead and bring it some where to get fixed. Need less to say I don't think my husband will have time to even look at it much less plug it in to see what is wrong.
Have you checked the fuse? If the fuse is good you have a problem with the power supply which can be repaired. You would need a service manual for the power supply. But that would be a lot cheaper than having it repaired by a shop. Power supply problems usually run about 400 to 600 in a repair shop. When often it is a 20.00 part. If I can assist you further please let me know.

I also have an RCA Home Theatre Rear Projection. My problem is the picture bends on all four sides badly and picture looks double and fuzzy. I had it repaired twice and fix and it seems repairs are only good for around 14 months. Now the problem is back and this will be the third time. I've had the same TV Tech. fixed it twice now I don't know if he's competent or it's something I can just adjust myself. Please Advice. Thanks
