Can't load my mp3 player using my macintosh.

With most mp3 players, media can be directly added without the use of a third party application. Try opening the Coby mp3 player removable disk on your hard drive (click on the mp3 players icon). It will open the players contents in finder. there you should be able to drag mp3s.

Can I use Coby MP305 4GB MP3 player with iTunes on my Mac?

Hello,

You cant synchronize with ITUNES to a Coby MP3 player. Itunes will not recognize the device. Also, Itunes are AAC format which this unit doesn't recognize.

If you have MAC. plug unit into computer, it should show up as NO NAME on your desktop, you wuold have to drag/drop your MP3 file to this location.

If your interested in converting ITUNES to MP3, here is how you could do it on ITUNES "this does not work for purchased music" -

Got a coby mp705 for our 13 year old for christmas, and she wants to remove pictures from it.

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. NOTE: Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player. Good Luck, I hope this helps Please rate me, Thank You

Tranfering files

Coby no longer keeps a full user manual for this product, but you can use Windows Media Player to transfer your songs onto the player. It is not compatible with iTunes, but you can use the Rip tab in Windows Media Player to rip songs from a CD - you have to go into the Rip Options and change the Rip format to Mp3 first. Coby does have a video on the process at:
http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=tutorial

You can also load mp3 files from a music service such as Limewire into your computer's "My Music" folder - Windows Media Player should automatically detect the songs, but it may take a few minutes.

Good luck!

Coby mp3 drivers not found for model mp-c683

Unless you are using Windows 98, you will not need one. Plug and play - the player is so old Coby doesn't really support it anymore. If you're experiencing a specific problem, post it here. If you're using Mac or Linux or Vista - forget about it - this player will not work on those systems.
