Re: I droped my phone into water :(

Hi Layna. You did the right thing by letting it dry out. The board (brain) of the phone should be ok. Just bring it to your local cellular service repair center and they should be able to fix it. It wont be covered under warranty because liquid damage never is. The problem with you phone is th "button flex" which should run you about $60 US to repair, no more than that. If you have no local repair center for cellphones in your area, check my profile and im sure we can help you.

I droped my phone in a pool the phone works and most of the buttons work some dont and i want to know how to fix them

Good day!!!

if the c.p is submerge to water you need to clean it buttons and board...

try to open the cover of your c.p then go to the button or keypad printing board.. get cotton buds with alcohol..and gently wipe it to the printed board and even the contacts of keypad..

after that also try to clean the board using contact cleaner and brush..

Thank you and don't forget to rate my answer and write a testimony..

I droped my phone in a pool and tried to turn it on a few times but now i think i fried it what can i do to fix it

OK, if the phone has water damage, the warranty will not cover the repair expense because, if the main board of the phone is blown, they will need to replace the whole phone.

What i am trying to say, is that there is no way of fixing this unit without replacing it. Sorry, i know this is not what you came hear to hear.

please be so kind to let me know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards

Hi i have a nokia 6300 and i droped it in water then managed to fix it i now do not no whats up with it the fone wont turn on when i push the button but after a few times trying it turns on then turns back...

Your phone has been damaged by the water, traces of minerals were likely left behind and are affecting the power control circuitry.

Take your phone to your carrier to see if there is anything they can do, but if it has been a more than a day, options are limited.

You are likely looking at having to replace the phone.

Nokia n 73 droped in water for 3 seconds

This happened to me one fine summers eve in a pool in Los Angeles, but i'll spare you those details ;)

There is indeed hope! Make sure you dont put the batter back into it for a few days, take some dry rice and immerse the phone into it, the rice will **** any of the excess moisture out from the phone. DO NOT douse it in rubbing alcohol, and do not "bake" it in an oven or in too hot of sun, this will deform the internal electronics.. Hope this helps! :)

My w580i walkman was droped in the pool

Best thing to do right away is remove the battery and put it in a bowl of dry rice if you have any to start absorbing the water out. Not sure about the left front button coming out. Good luck.

Well, my iphone doesnt turn on, i dont knw y but it turn on once but then it went out.

Hello, my name is Ismail A, and I will be helping you with your problem.
Ok, well I was wondering if you droped it in water and droped it around more than once or just harder then you think. If this is the problem, then try going to the cell phne company, and see what they have to say about this. If that doesnt work, come back and see me.

Have a nice day
