Question about Nikon D100 Digital Camera
My D100 performs fine one minute and flashes 'err' the next. This happens on auto and on manual. The pictures look fine (unless on manual and need to change the exposure)but the only way to get it to stop flashing 'err' is to turn it off and turn it back on. I freelanced with this camera for three years and I think, or at least hope, it is not user error.
You need a new shutter box.
It may be worth cleaning the contacts on both camera and lens.
Clean the contacts in the lens mount using a fiberglass "pencil" designed specifically for cleaning contacts. These are available at just about any photo supply store/firm.
send it to nikon. seem like a common problem
