Re: update

Just DUMP vista? oh baby i wish i could. This company had a good product call XR...but now ALL Windows is going Vista...and the company product is JUNK. It works with almost NOTHING. It has ruined Two Computers which i ended up so screwed up i decide to replace them. I DISPISE Vista...never EVER have heard a GOOD WORD about it TOTAL JUNK..and RUINS your computers, and your business if you are computer dependent, who isnt these is the FALL of Microsoft..just WATCH...someone now will come alone with a PRODUCT THAT WORKS...Vista is opening the future by being so awful it demands some other company FILL IN THE VOID of a workable Software.

Re: update

First of all windows vista has compatibility issues with almost everything, second the microsoft updates aren't that important and some of them actually harm ur pc by opening ports in your windows firewall for viruses and trojans, third if u still want to update just log on the microsoft site, choose the vista tab or in the search bar type "vista update" then u can update your system, this problem can be because you aren't connected to the internet, your connection isn't that good "u get disconnected every few seconds", your updater isn't running, the microsoft site is down, or there aren't any current upgrades for the windows.

Elitegroup 945GZT-M (V1.0) Motherboard,\r\nim runing windows 7 64-bit with this motherboard but i cant find an update to the bios and driver updates so that i can use a video card in my computer with...

At the official site for your motherboard there are no drivers for Windows 7. You can take a look at this link. As far as I can see you use Ati Radeon HD5570 as VGA card. The official drivers for this particular vga for Windows 7 are here so I can't see why you are looking for motherboard's VGA drivers for Windows 7.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.

I cant get my web cam to work

1. check to see if you have compatibility with your Operating system that is Windows 7 or Vista or XP .
Right click the .exe file as Administrator - property - compatibility - check the compatibility box - choose the OS Vista or XP - click OK.
2. contact the manufacturer for driver update for your web cam.

Update motherboard for windows 7 and vista

that board is desinged to run xp i recomend bying a new mobo that is more compatible with windows 7 or vista
i say this because of the 2 gig ram limit vista services will chew thru 3/4 of that with a standard fresh install
im not familar with the requirments of windows 7 i imagin thy are similar to vista witch in my opion is the garbage os that ME was when it came out

thus meaning meaning windows 7 would be the counterpart to xp vrs ME

if your wanting to get away from xp try ubuntu out.
drivers uhm yah ubuntu searched my system and in 1 click i had the drivers for me dell dimension 8300 and i mean all of them for the buss and io sub system ,nic card ,sound card ,video card (was seperate confirmation) i still have caution flags running xp sp3 no drivers avalible from manufacturer shrugs >its working

When i use vista & listen any song then it get hang and shows

Do you install a driver from CD that comes with your Motherboard? Vista CD/DVD Driver Pact creates such problem. For Vista drivers you can directly download from internet (The best Drivers/uptodate)
When you connect to internet Windows Update will automaticly download the drivers!

Best Luck!

Drivers Problem

I know what the problem is but the solution isnt aviable yet.

Vista has issues communicating with the driver even if it says its in propperly, intel has yet to release an update for this or microsoft a solution ,, here is the driver link

NOw here is what you can try

In vista go to the control panel and select classic view

there are 2 ways
1.) Select windows update and let it update windows it self, hopefully microsoft has realeased compatibility protocols to solve the issue
2.) Select Problems and reports, the problem will be listed here, have windows keep checking for a solution, it will search the microsoft data base as well as intel and keep checking for drivers..

Other than this you only other choice is to downgrade back to xp until a solution is avilable.

Windows Vista

If you are having trouble installing the drivers from the Gigabyte CD, than go to Gigabyte's web site for the GA-M61SME-S2 motherboard & download the Vista driver's you need. The web site has some newer drivers. Click on this link to go to the driver site.
If you are still having trouble. List what is not installing here.
Same for error messages.

Hi ZJIM, download & run windows vista adviser fro microsoft.
This program will check your system & even your printer if its connected & turned on. After its runs the testing it will advise you what will & will not run with vista. It will also show you where to get updates for your system so you can run vista.

Good Luck!
