Magic Chef, removal of cook top from range

My 1993,4 or 5 range needs the controller changed. How do I remove the cook top to get at the controller. I have access to all sides of the unit.
The oven does not reach any set temp., the sensor measures 1100 ohms, the element glows red when I start baking. It cycles on/off while cooking but does not reach set temp. I assume its the controller.
The control board is no longer mfg.and will try to repair the one I got. Do you know where I can get a schmatic diagram.

I could not find my unit so I just choose CER3740 to get to you

unfortunalty you will not be able to find a schematic of indivudual component(s), they opnly show very vauge power points on controls, theya re not servicable in field, the "controlller would be the main control/clock assy, 94/95 doesnt seem that old cant see them not stocking that part any more
