I have 02 kia sedona that runs rough at idle nd dies when i put it in gear and give it gas.

Do the simple thing first, change the fuel filter, if that doesn't fix it, then you'll have to check fuel pressure to make sure it's in spec.

Emachines laptop keep freezing and making loud buzzing noise when i listen to music. please help

The buzzing/grinding noise is probably a bad connection if you are using earphones. Put a couple of drops of rubbing alcohol on some toilet paper and clean the prong for your earphones. Wait a minute and reinsert the plug into the jack. As for the freezing up of the video, you might want to download and install your video drivers for your emachine. Go to the manufacturer's web page to find the right ones. Don't forget to reboot after installations.

Why does it turn off by it's self and it say it

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error if this fails to fix the problem
another possible reason could be a memory dump make sure your computer ram modules are securely seated wit no dust in the sockets also your Cmos battery has secure seating
you might be running to many programs at the one time placing to much strain on the CPU running your computer over its limits also you might not have enough RAM random access memory to check what is running when your computer is running scroll to the bottom toolbar right click select task manager applications and processes if you see something you dont need running select end now and you might uninstall some of the unnecessary programs
    hope this helps

    High speed fan

the thermo switch determine how high and how long the fan need to run to obtain the proper temperature, it will be a consern if the fan doesn't run.
as far as the upgrade of your machine. do you have enough RAM (2GB minimum) and how is the CPU?(1.6GHz or better) can the CPU handle the operating system. Since you didn't mention that, and by reading what you say, I believe the machine is not able to handle the Vista, that is why the fan is running at high speed and non-stop. The CPU is getting hot, and the power supply is pulling lots power.
Vista loading takes approximately 1-2 minutes, dependent on how many applications you have installed and what you have on the desktop.
roll back to XP from Vista is no possible, the only way is to reformat and reinstall XP.

    Emachine heating issues

    Hi rebecca_fran,
Well the system is shutting down for a reason but before you run off & buy a new CPU fan I want you to try something.
Unplug the power cord from the PC. Open your case & ground your self by simply touching any bare metal. (The bottom of the case will do).
Please remove the memory currently in your system. If you have never done this before please check within the manual for your eMachine. (There should be a section on how to install memory).
You can also click on this uTube link, it’s a bit long but you can skip through the video.
If you have some canned air blow out the memory slots.
(Do not place your fingers on the memory contacts at any time).
Re-seat the memory, firmly but gently. Leave the case opened & plug in the power cord. Turn on the PC. See if the fan runs & the system doe’s not shut down. If it still does replace the CPU fan.

Your PC uses an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ / 2.3 GHz CPU.
Here is a replacement AMD CPU fan & assembly.

The CPU will come with thermal tap on its underside. (No need to buy thermal grease).
(Make sure you remove the old thermal grease from the top of the CPU). Use a clean rag with a little alcohol on it. (Not dripping). Allow time for drying. Do not scratch the CPU surface.

    Good luck rebecca_fran!

    Emachines T2958 overheating

Go to and see if there is a firmware update for your computer BIOS. Some thermostat errors are cause by a BIOS fault that can be corrected with a firmware upgrade.
