Question about Uniden WIN1200 IP Wireless Phone
I could not find a power button on my Uniden Win 1200. I called Customer Hotline to get help on how to turn the handset unit on, the automated answering machine at Uniden advice me to put Uniden handset unit back on its base, pick it up and press Up or Down volume twice. I did just and still nothing got turned on.
I had the same problem, but good thing I bought three of them. The first one worked right out of the box, the second one wouldn't come up for about two days and the third one took several days before it would turn itself on. My opinion is that the batteries are really flat from being on the shelf for so long before they are sold and have "memorized" that condition.
I went to the Uniden site and their FAQ don't really address much about this product, wish they would expand it somewhat.
Good luck and keep on trying to charge the batteries.
