Re: New Feature

I love it.

Haven't had time to explore it much, unfortunately. Quite busy at work.

The wires connecting the play stop & cue have come loose on my optimus LAB 1100. I need a diagram to show me where to hook them up PLEASE!!!

The Levitator is a tone arm "auto lifter" for turn tables and record players that do not have an "auto-return" feature, or has one that is broken. If your needle rides in the "wax trail-off" area of a record it can damage the needle, along with making a horrible noise. It is not enjoyable to have to babysit your records and manually take your tone arm off the record the moment it is done. The Levitator does it for you so you can relax and go about your business. When the record is done the tone arm trips the lever triggering the lifter to raise your tone arm/needle off the record. It is designed with adjustable height to fit any turntable. These are available for sale through Ebay,or please see video to order your own.

Check the internal fuses. There are two. You have to strip the unit down to get to them.

Technics SL-BD22 Turntable Motor

Panasonic has always been the parent company of Technics. The Technics line was developed by Panasonic (aka Matsushita Electric) back in 1965. Today, the only the DJ arm of the Technics brand survives. The consumer Technics line (like your turntable) have all been discontinued about 10 years ago.

As for the motor, if Panasonic says they have it, grab it. Part number I show for it - #SDMB5E - $19.99

Stopped turning

Try removing the cover and looking for a broken belt. Make sure that the motor is spinning too. If you find a broken belt, let me know and I'll help you find a replacement.

Good luck!
