Error code E70 on my Frigidaire front loading washer model LTF2940FEO

Good Morning Jazy, this is JK. I see that you are receiving an error message E70. The E70 error means that the Main Control Board is not seeing the correct water supply. I would suggest swapping the hot and cold hoses. Hope this helps!

The e70 error code comes on when the hot and cold water hoses are reversed or not properly installed.

if it stops in towards the end of the cycle or around the the rinse cycle then you need to replace the door lock mechanism

The main cause for this e70 error is that the hoses would have swapped (hot to cold, cold to hot). It means the washer isn't getting cold water.Try to switch between the hoses. Another possibility is the faucets are not turned on.... Hope this solution will fix your problem for sure.

HI, this is a major control board fault code. the chip set on this board is damaged. it cannot be repair and, it is recommended to replace the entire control board(main) in this case.

A service call is recommended.

remove lower kick panel and check for leak at door boot and drain pump.

water fill problem ,,,check fill hose for kink,,,or lost of water pressure,,,you may need to clean inlet vavle screens..onthejob

Hello,

I had this exact same problem with my Frigidaire washer (E70) as bubbles100. I called an appliance repairman on 5/14/09 and paid him $60 to tell me my hot and cold water hoses were reversed/not properly installed.

This repairman was the cheapest priced $60 and he would work till he found the problem. I had one appliance repair company wanting to charge me $90 for 30 min and another wanting to charge $120 for 30 min. Hopefully this information can help save the next person some money by trying this first.

Check your outlet filters, clean out. The machine will not spin if the filter is blocked. Also check your inlet into the machine. Clean screens on both ends of the pipes. Refit carefully.
