Press the power on and the center of the wheel and the M buttons at the same time after you turn it on. your computer will now recognize it. http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/select.aspx?u=downloads then go here and get the download for your mp3 player. hopefully it works for you.

You can reset your player at any time if there is a problem by pressing and holding the On/Off button for 10 seconds. I will attach a link to the manual and support which further explains the device.
Thanks for using FixYa.

I had the same problem and went through RCA support to get a solution which (to my surprise) actually worked. Here's what you need to do. Connect your USB cable to your computer but do not connect to your mp3. Hold down the toggle switch on the mp3 while turning it on. Then insert the other end of the USB cable to the mp3. This should allow your computer to recognize the mp3.
Now go to website: support.rcaaudiovideo.com (no www. prefix). Go to "software updates". Click on "mp3 players" a couple of times and then your model "H125". Then click on "H115 and H125 Lyra Hard Drive Upgrade Utility" and follow the directions from there.
Good luck!

RCA H125 File System Corrupted

I've had this problem twice now and fixed it once. I'm in the process of fixing it again. Here's what you do, and this is a slow process so have some patience with it. Hook it to your computer then power it off. When you power it back on, with the cord still connecting it to the computer, hold down both the front buttons and the power button. You should now see it saying connecting. It will take a LONG time for your computer to recognize the device and give you access to it in My computer. Once it does, you can then remove the file system and replace it.
