Re: rapid relay fuse

Need more info to know for sure, but first thing to check is blown fuse. Look in owner's manual to find which fuse controls this outlet.

Why does it no longer power on?

without more information, I can only give you some simple checks.

First check your fuses located near the input of your power cord. check for a blown fuse.

second, the power switch itself may be damaged, you will more than likely need an appliance technician to check that.

third, the monitor may have just quit working all together.

it would be best if you are not comfortable with checking these things yourself, to take to a repair person.

Flip down monitor how to wire it

The proper connection for these wires are: the red and black on the RCA cable go to chassis ground and a switched 12volt wire (accessory or ignition) and should be fused at the connection with not more than a 15 amp fuse.
No info on the dome light wire connections

Directed Video OHD800B will not power on...Please help?

Check the yellow wire, it has a 3 amp inline fuse. I have found that the inline fuse holder itself was defected and I replaced the whole fuse holder. You can find one at Radio Shack, Part # 270-1238.

My car stops on motion

several things it could be
alternator replacement
relay is bad
computer going bad
over heat saftey feature thats killing the power so you dont crack your block
make sure your fan is running and hook power to fan direct to an power fuse this is when you turn the key to on the fan starts running you can also add a toggle switch to cooling fan so when in accessory it wont run down battery
your vehicle is equipeted with an electric cooling fan if this shuts off your vehicle over heats and shuts off
this ensures vehicle is always running cool

Fuse size?

i'd say use a small value, such as 5 amp or less. did you wire this up yourself? most stuff like this comes with an in-line fuse already built into the red power wire. in that case you wouldn't need to have additional fusing.
