Emerson remote control

It sounds like you loaded a wrong code to the TV. Though I don't know how. You should have been loading the TV's code to the remote. but if nether remote will work then something got loaded to the TV. check your TV's owners manual. There should be a way to bring everything back to default. Usually by pressing a series of buttons on the menu and turning on the tv. I wouldn't know the set of buttons as every tv is different. But it should be in the owners manual or on the web site. Reseting the tv to default should cure the issue. Sony will help you but they will charge you for the call. If you cannot find the information in the owners manual go to sony's web site and check the FAQ section to see if someone else has had this problem. Sony is usually fairly good with information on the web. You should be able to find what you need to do to take the TV back to default. BEWARE THOUGH! any information you programmed to the tv will be lost when you do this. You will have to reprogram it. (TV channels etc...)
