hi, if you are having trouble sending or recieving text messages then the fisrt thing you need to do is delete all the sent and recieved messages and also drafts due to the fact that if your memory is full this will give you loads of problem sending and recieving text or mms messages so deleting these will then get your messages working again.
If how ever you still cant send or recieve text messages then the chances are that your message center number is wrong or got mest up, what you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them to send you the text message center number settings, they will then tell you the correct message center number and how to change this setting on your phone.
They wont charge for this and it will only take 2 minutes to solve your problem.
Make sure you are following all the steps, because picture message looks the same as text but has one extra menu for adding the image itself. Watch the steps at http://www.HandBookLive.com under Electronics->Cellphones category click on Motorola RAZR video. Chapter 14, called "Send pictures to your friends"
i have one but it mite not work try pressing menu key go to messages press the button inbetween the soft keys up top scroll to message setup then go to where it says "Use GPRS" and change it to no It worked for me.
Do you have many music tracks / videos / photos in the memory? These will use up storage space and can cause this problem - especially if some are stored in the phone SIM memory instead of the 8GB memory section.
Try removing any large files (video etc.) that you can do without.
