Try to open the browser and see what connection will ask first... go to settings and erase any infos that are inside... wi-fi must be cleared in all atributes... in the worst case reset the phones factory defaults.. but take out the memory card(if any) and sim card first...

Turn on your computer and locate the Wi-Fi icon. This could be located on the upper row on a laptop it will have the radiation look ((())) Make sure its pressed on. Usually a wifi enabled phone, computer, or whatever device, will recognize if there is wifi access near you. If not you may need to turn on the wifi on those devices. Usually those setting can be found in menus like Network Settings. Once it recognizes the network you will need the password if it is required. Just enter that in and you are set. Where you enter the password is usually in the same menu in which you turned on your wifi enabled device. if still no connection Power on the laptop computer and wait for the operating system to boot. Right-click the wireless Internet icon in the lower right corner of the desktop. This brings up a new pull-down menu. Select "View Available Wireless Networks." This brings up a selection of different possible Internet connections that are in range of the computer. Select the wireless Internet connection you want to use. If a password is required, you need to type it in now. Wait for the laptop to connect to the Internet. In a moment the computer is going to state it has successfully connected to the Internet. Click Start, Run type in cmd and click Ok to bring up a command prompt. Type ipconfig /all and press enter and see if it gives you an IP address similar to 192.168.1.100. Check your wireless connection properties under My Network Places. Right click the wireless connection icon and choose properties. To do this, login to the computer as an administrator.

How to turn on wifi? Its been 2 -3 days wifi isnot being loaded?

Press and Hold the FN function key then hit F2 while holding the FN Key down.

Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look onboth sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.

Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can togglethe wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN functionkey located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit willhave the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a towerwith the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will displayWireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Seems like your Bluetooth and Wifi settings are disabled from BIOS.
On laptops usually there is a setting in BIOS where you can disable/Enable Wifi+Bluetooth. Shutdown computer Turn on computer and press "F2" to go to BIOS settings Find settings for Wifi+Bluetooth and set it to default.
Save settings and restart computer You will be able to see your Bluetooth and Wifi.
Hope this works

Pls tell me what is the functional key combination for wireless for my toshiba laptop?

Look for the wifi icon on any of your keyboard's function keys (F1 to F12). The wifi icon looks like a wave or radio signal like ))) or ((( or ((())). When you find that icon, example, in F10, then just press and hold down FN and press F10. This will turn your wifi on.

Also, if your laptop have a mechanical switch, you have to turn it ON first. The mechanical or manual switch is found usually in the sides and can be turned ON or OFF by sliding sideways.

Please post feedback so that I can help you further.

Where is the wireless switch on a Acer Aspire 5735

Usually, if there is no HARD SWITCH for wifi, there is an equivalent keyboard key combination to turn wifi radio receiver ON. Look at your laptop's Function Keys: F1, F2, ... F12. Among them there is an icon for WIFI, something that looks like an antenna with wave signals. Now press and hold the FN key and press that function key with the wifi icon. Example, if the wifi icon appears at F10, then press FN + F10 to turn your wifi ON or OFF.

WIFI Connection Problem - connects only to EDGE

If you want to use wifi only when your at home you can go in and manually disable the cellular data so the internet will only be wifi based. Probably saving you MB's and data cost.

Go to Settings, General, Network, then simply turn off the Cellular Data. Then it won't connect anymore to the cell data and rely only on wifi when your connected to it.

And simple follow the same steps and revers the process when your out on the go.

Thanks
