Question about Lexmark X2500 All-In-One Printer
I'm trying one of the links you suggested right now & I'll let ya know how it went when I'm done. But, I got to thinking of something I probably should have asked the first time. Where do I download & install it into?
It's "mediatec" (from www.mediatec.ro ) not "mediater, but whatever :)
Reply on the original question, i saw your post by pure concidence my friend :)
You can download it where you want (on Desktop for instance) and install it where the soft suggest. Usually it will unzip in a folder on drive C (root) called Lexmark - Driver, and after unzipp, the installation progress should start automatically, putting the software usually in C - Program Files - Lexmark

The Lexmark X2500 all-in-one multifunction printer, discontinued as of May 2011, will not install on Windows Vista or Windows 7 using the installation disc. The installation disc predates the newer editions of the Windows operating system and so you will run into difficulty when trying to install the printer. Lexmark has released up to date drivers on their website. Once you have downloaded the drivers, you can install the printer and begin using the device.
Go to the Lexmark X2500 Support and Downloads page (see Resources).
Click "Drivers and Downloads."
Click the link for either the "64 bit" or the "32 bit" drivers, depending on the version of Windows you are using.
Double-click the file once it has downloaded. Click "Next" throughout the driver setup. Connect and switch on the Lexmark X2500 printer when prompted by the installer. Click "Restart" at the end to restart your computer.
