The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I format my computer with windows xp professional cd i later notice that there is no sound on it,what can i do to solve this problem

You will need to identify what the sound card is, the make and model, *assuming there is one installed.( Then you will have to go online and locate the driver for your version of XP PRO, download them and install them. You should ensure, in device manager, that a sound card is [resent. You may bave to get the service pack installed before you can install the soundcard.
1 check there is a soundcard present.
2 check it is enabled
3download and install service pack
4 download and install driver.
Do not forget to get your windows updates

I reformat my desktop computer with windows xp svc pack 2 . the problem have no sound . the motherboard is asustek model p4pe-xte .kindly give me solution

Hi,
If you have formatted your computer then the problem might be because the drivers for sound are not yet installed.
Please install the sound drivers and that should take care of the issue.
Right click on "My computer" --> Properties --> Hardware tab --> Device Manager
Under device manager, check the sound devices.. there might be a red cross (X) or Question mark (?) or a exclamation mark (!) indicating problem with the drivers .. just right click on the device and select update drivers and that should take care of it or if you have a sound driver CD/DVD, insert the same in the optical drive and install.

Let me know if that helps.

Srinivas

Problem loading XP Serve Pack 2 in Gigabyte 8I845GVM-RZ

I know this may sound mundane, but did you load the correct set of windows drivers for the Intel 845 chipset? I mistakenly loaded the Home drivers onto a unit I tried to install Pro on and I got all sorts of errors.

Installing windows

This one was fun. To install a hard drive larger than 137 gigabytes on your computer you need the following:

a motherboard, such as the Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 which support the 48 bit hard drive addressing. Only new motherboards can be counted on to support this.

Windows 2000 service pack 3 or later. Windows XP service pack 1 and greater have this support built in. I assume this isn't a problem with Linux at all...
