Accurian mp3 player problems

Hello Guys ... I got it solved !!! here's what I did:

1- Go to www.mymusix.com
2- clik on FAQ, then on 43-198
3- find the solution for this question :Q: When I turn on my player it says 'Error, connect to PC and use Device Manager to repair'., and click on link
4- Follow the instructions

If after following all the instructions, you still can't see the device on windows, click on downloads, then on 42-198, then download the mpt utility and run it, the do the above steps again

It is charging i have one to!! once u think it is charged take it off the USB cord

I had issues with mine where I would plug into the usb and nothing. not charging not showing up on computer, it was like it wasn't plugged in at all. I emailed tech support. they told me to send it in (Radio Shack had none in stock and did not know when more would come in so could not return it for a new one). I sent tech support the mp3 player and in about a week or two I received a new one but now this one has the problem where I at first I was able to load songs to it but now it won't let load or delete songs from the player. All I get is a device is busy or disconnected message. So now I'm back to emailing tech support.

I agree they do have competitive prices and their customer service and tech support is very good but quality of product does seem questionable especially with all the problems that these particular mp3 players have been having. Hopefully they can find a way to fix these bugs.

charging the player:

i've had a battery problem once.. but i realized that i did not completely turn it off so it was not charging correctly... every electronic item charges faster when its off..

ok so, you know when you leave it on to play and after the cycle is over the music stops? after a while in that "stop music" stage the mp3 player looks turned off... (it's like it's hibernating). before you recharge it always always turn it on and turn it off. that fixes the problem right away. I've had mine for over six months and no problems!!!

as for not getting it to pop up on the computer:

just go to the "my computer" icon and it should have it's own icon there under "other" and you'll see the little icon. must i say.. click on it?

to download music on it:

you can't just copy and paste the music you want into the music folder... the mp3 player will separate and organize it for you..

you should have windows media player.. pop in whatever cd and ripped it into your media library.. then you should sync it with your mp3 player.

if you are downloading music from a site.. don't create any folders on the mp3 player (i know if would let you but DON'T).. just copy and paste the music into the main part of the folder (it's the window that opens after you click on " internal storage device"...

oook... that's all i see up there. have fun w/ da music playa cuz i am.

i'm so glad i didn't get an expensive apple.. i'm not going to pay $100 more just to customize the color!!!!

are you sure its not on lock? If not try holding the play/pause button with the menu button.

I have an portable video mp3, the problem is the battery so I change it. When I tried still it cant charge, pls say the solution as soon as possible.

for mine's this shows on the screen n i'm currently trying to fix it too...

Hmm... what im thinking is do what the 3rd guy said but i tryied it with taking of PD Meida Converter and putting my music in the "My Music" folder it should work i've just thought it as a thoery...

all you have to do is plug it back in to the computer for a w2hile then take it off the ubs cord it should be fine ne ways i have one that wont let me delete the songs that it came with off and some that i put on there and finally only let me delete half but now it wont let me put ne on
