Hello, How do I connect my Epson stylus PHOTO px700 to my laptop?

NETGEAR’s 54 Mbps Wireless Print Server with 4-port Switch allows you to connect one or two printers to your existing wireless network, without using unsightly Ethernet cables. Simply place your printers anywhere in your home or office that works best for you, plug them into the print server’s USB ports, and the Smart Wizard set-up function automatically guides you through configuration. Then you can send your business documents to a high-end color printer, and your kids’ homework to a black-and-white printer. The print server also acts as a wireless Ethernet bridge, connecting a cluster of up to four PCs and laptops without requiring dedicated wireless adapters. I t employs powerful WEP Encryption and WPA-PSK to keep your wireless network secure, and interoperates with all standard b and g wireless devices. All this in a sleek, space-saving stand-up case.

For that you need to access your router configuration.
Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following link.
type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
Then you can see configuration page of router .
Click on WAN settings and set network settings of your internet service provider. If you want ip address from your network then enable DHCP.
If you want wireless click on wireless and set security as WEP if you want to secure.
Then save settings and restart router.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Lexmark Not Printing Wireless

I don't know if this will help you but here's something that I do know. I also purchased a wireless printer. When setting it up with my laptop I had to actually install it using a hardwire (ethernet cable). There were prompts that allowed me to connect wirelessly for future use. After installation, I disconnected it from the ethernet cable and activated the wireless connection in my laptop and let it find the printer. My printer was an Epson but I really can't see how the connecting part would be all that different. You may have already tried this as I'm sure your install instructions had you do it that way. Mine did.

Print Server Advice, Please!

I suggest that you just buy an HP printer that supports wireless or ethernet so it can just get itself an IP address and will not rely on any Windows Network Shares to let you print. A print server will be over the top for just one printer.

Wireless printer connection with at&t u-verse

OK I FINALLY figured out how to fix this. You need to program your router to allow your printer to connect to it. Do this by going to your 2Wire router setting homepage by entering in your address bar. Now sross to the bottom and click wireless. Go down to MAC Filtering and click Edit Blocked/Allowed Device List. You need your printers MAC address now. You can get this by turning your printer on and press the button that has a check mark on it. It will print out a report page. Your MAC address should be called the hardware address and should be 12 digits. Now go back to your computer and enter this address in the form xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx where it says MAC address and click add to list. You might need to enter your password now mich should be on a sticker on the bottom of your router. Voila! Now make sure you have uninstalled the HP software from your previous install attempts if you have any, and turn off your firewall. (Control panel--security---turn off firewall) Now use the provided HP install disk and follow the instructions. Click install a wireless printer. It will not find it now but thats okay. When it asks what type of connection you want to have click wireless. Now select the basic setup where you connect an ethernet cable to your printer and router. Now connect the printer and router with the ethernet cable. Now click refresh. It should find it now. You'll need to select your network name and enter your WPA network key (located on the bottom of the router if you didnt change it). It should find it now!! Remember to turn your firewall back on! Happy printing!!

Installation assistant cannot detect print server

Results of attempting to connect the Netgear Wireless Print Server WGPS606 and the Canon MF6550 multifunction laser printer. I was on the phone for several hours last evening (March 9, until about midnight EDT) with a very competent support agent from Netgear (actually in the Philippines). The Netgear setup Wizard software would not connect the Print Server to my Verizon FiOS wireless G router automatically, so the Netgear support agent walked me through it manually. The Print Server connected that way, for sure. Then we manually attempted to connect the Print Server to my Canon MF6550 and subsequently, my HP 932C Deskjet. Neither printer is on the WGPS606 compatible list, nor is either on the known incompatible list. Now we know - both printers are INCOMPATIBLE with the Netgear WGPS606. I bought both the Netgear Print Server and the Canon MF6550 at Staples on Sat., March 8, 2008, based upon the assurance from Staples staff that it would all work. The question now is whether ANY brand of wireless Print Server will work with the Canon MF6550, or do I have to return this printer and get either a Canon with built in networking (ethernet or wireless) or switch to the Brother equivalent (MFC 8870DW). If I get a (multi-function) printer with built-in Ethernet networking, does the Ethernet capability bypass the USB incompatibility problem, or will the problem remain?

Wireless laptop not printing

Indeed, you don't need the print server. Since your HP 6310 already has an integrated network port, you may setup and use it on your laptop the same way you do with your desktop. If you can browse the Internet wirelessly with your laptop, you should also be able to print.

Print server won't speak to printer

If I am correct, you are connecting the print server to the Xerox with a parallel cable.  If so, you are printing two different ways when you connect with an ethernet cable.  When you connect the printer with an ethernet cable you are probably printing TCP\IP to the IP Address of the NIC Card (in the printer).  When you connect with a print server, the print servers IP Address becomes the one you would use as the port for the printer object in Windows Printers & Faxes.
