Check the Player Manual what types of disck it can play There is great diversity o among player makes with what they can do. Also if you have burned this disk it must be Finalized in the burner before any other device can play it.

Place an empty disc in, format the disc, record a little scene. Turn off camcorder. Place the error disc in the camcorder, turn on the camcorder all the way to play/edit. If this doesn't work turn it to record and try to record. Worked for some of my error disc
hello, The error message your seeing is due from a bad eye or (laser). It is unable to read the disk. Best bet would be to just buy a new one. These days they are really cheap an can find most places is the 50$ range. thanks.
Some of the panasonic models had motor problems that cuased them to start not reading disks and give a error code on the display. Maybe yours just has a dirty laser pickup and you MIGHT be able to gently clean it off and see if it will play again, other then that it might well be worn out. most newer machines have a dual laser pickup, one is tuned for pressed cd's and DVD 's and the other is tuned for cdrw and dvdrw style disks.
