Question about Canon PIXMA MP780 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Printing Problem I have been trying to print documents out of my Canon Pixma 780, but the printer makes this weird noise/sound. It seems like the printer is trying to grab the paper, but the paper is not going through. Is there a way I can fix this? Has anyone encountered anything like this?

How do I change the H Value, A O on my Canon Pixma MP 780

Those values can only be changed after printing the alignment page either via the computer or by the keypad on the machine. On the machine they are set with the up/down arrows, but only after printing the alignment page.

Difficulty printing

First of all, delete all the copies of that printer in the folder and try again. If possible delete them all and reinstall the printer.

Canon PIXMA 530 grinds away

I had a persistant grinding noise about 30 seconds after the printer finished printing. It's been going on about 2 months. I did one thing which seemed to work. So try opening the cover on the back of the machine by lifting upward on the gray lever in the middle of the back of the machine. Leave this cover open during and after printing. The grinding noise went away.

Paper not feeding right

Hey. I too am having that problem with my ip1800 canon printer. It makes a weird "clicking" sound whenever I turn it on, and then when I try to feed it paper, the sheets either get stuck and become crooked and cumpled. OR, when it does sound like its printing, it doesn't print on the page--maybe the tip of the page, but not the whole page.

There is a gap in the letters

Sounds like a communication error between the printer and the computer - may sound weird, but either try a different USB port or a different cable.
