My Magellan Maestro 3100 also had the same charge/power problem. After long non-use, I sometime had to charge it for an hour or so before it kicks-on. After having it for more than 7-8 months, I think my unit will not hold a charge. If you follow the owners manual and also try Magellan's website suggestion: http://www.magellangps.com/support/askmaggie.asp , you may want to ask for an RMA for return. I am hoping that it's just the battery. Since I am new to the greater DC area, I had to buy another GPS, while I wait Magellan's repair. In the meantime, I am trying a GARMIN. If Magellan can fix it, at least our family has a backup.

Does it have dual batteries? A friend of mine threw 3k$ at his, then found out one of the batteries were low or had a bad cell. It was turning over for a long time, and we never suspected them being at fault. Like 2 750 or 850 CCA batteries. Have yours tested at a parts store to rule them out.
hello! 2 month and already quit? OK: first thing to do is to unplug TV off the power strip or wall outlet. Wait for a few minutes and plug the set back into the power source. Try to turn on the set manually, by touching sensors or buttons on control panel. some TVs have push buttons, some touch sensors. If your TV was set to "auto power on" mode, then don't touch anything after plugging set in. That's the only action you can do to "revive" the set. If you will be able to turn set on manually and "free standing" without any external connections, except power cord, check your remote control unit. 95% of consumers turn on their sets via "clickers". In case of complete failure, you might have month or 10 month left of factory warranty, depend on price you paid. Use it a.s.a.p! If needed. There is no magic button to heal broken circuitry. Good luck, Alex.
mine did the same thing finally i tryed unpluging it from back of tv well still plugged in and then pushing in the power button on the tv and mine turns on but i cant use a remote to shut it on or off and cant seen to find any info on this tv anywhere so for last 3 months that is how ive been turning it on and off any ideas ??
Just did mine...unplug 2-3 of your plug wires so the vehicle doesn't start but turns over. Turn over motor a few seconds then refill power steering resevoir. Repeat until resevoir quits needing fluid...replace wires and drive slowly turning steering wheel from just short of all the way right then repeat to the left. This will get the air out of the lines. Check the fluid after this last step.
