And to change or put in a new password: NOTES: • If you want to change password, follow steps 1 and 2 and select "CHANGE PASSWORD" option then enter your new password. • The V-Chip function is activated only on programs and tapes that have the rating signal. • Once you block a program using the V-Chip function, the blocked program cannot be watched based on the content of the show. When the program starts, the "INPUT PASSWORD" will appear on the screen. When you want to release the V-Chip temporarily, enter the password. If you change the channel or turn off the TV while the V-Chip function was temporarily released, the original setting will be resumed. If you return to the channel you were watching you must re-enter your password to temporarily release your V-Chip function again. • When you watch the TV from the cable box or the VCR with the RF Modulator, then you release the V-Chip temporarily, the V-Chip setting will not be resumed until you turn off the TV. The TV channel is not used in this case. • When changing the channel with the cable box or the VCR, approximately 10 seconds will pass until the program appears.
The cc has been enabled on your cable box. Usually there is a hidden menu accessed by turning off the cable box. Yes I did say turning off the cable box first. Then immediately pressing the menu button on the front of the cable box. The hidden menu should pop up and one of the menu options will be closed captioning,. Disable it.
You can ask you cable operator to give you a box that has ether hdmi or RGB compsit outputs simple as that. I just do not see why this does not have a tuner in it I am kinda worndering if this just is not a monitor but can you please leave me the model number.
But you can hook it up to RGB or hdmi you just need to ask your cable operator for that type of box simple as that.
What you all need to do is get away from a coax cable connection. If you have a cable box, or satellite box, take the coax cable off and use red, white, n yellow rca composite cables to connect your recievers to the tv. if you dont have a cable box, either get one, or get a converter box and use a tuner outside of the tuner within the unit. The tuners in those tv's are built to show you when you experience signal fluctation(which is normal with a coax cable) and thats why the box keeps popping up on its own. good louck to you all with this problem
Okay,i assumed this is what you have: HD cable box with HDMI cable connection to the Samsung TV. Listen careful as follow: First you want to make sure using the same HD comcast box with HDMI connection for our Samsung TV as well as your other TV.Be sure the other TV do received the missing channels from the Samsung TV.You must be SURE you have tested both TVs with the same HDMI cable with the SAME HD cable box. Now that you have confirmed the both TVS are using the same HD comcast box and the same HDMI cable but the connection that goes to the Samsung TV are missing some channels,at this point, use another HDMI connection behind your Samsung TV and see if you have the same problem. If so,please also try the left side of the HDMI connection and see if you could get the other channels. Let me know! solutiondoct
There is no factory option to stop the box from poping up every time
the signal changes, which is what is happening. It has something
to do with signal strength or the fact that your cable box is not set
up for HD. Call your cable company to get a tech out to check
your signal and set up your cable box because they do not come pre-set
with HD defaults.
