Question about Motorola Mobility SLVR L7 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Buzzing sound during a call

I just bought a new SLVR L7 cell phone and whenever am talking, there is a buzzing noise on the phone. It happens whether I am receiving a call or sending one. The person on the other end of my phone call usually hears it louder. Can I correct this or is it a manufacturer problem?

This is a bad mic. Motorola quality control. Try and have it switched by your provider, they will most likely switch it on the spot.

Buzzing noise while making a call

This happens at many phones due to the speaker which buzzes because of the waves made by the conversation. For example try calling someone and be near a desktop pc speaker or radio and you'll hear the same buzzing noise

Cell phone

It seems your mic problem. Mobile phones microphones are are used to get such defect. Motorola mic is ractangle type SMD(surface mount device) and replacement needs some skill. If you don't have enough knowledge please don't try to do yourself. Give it to skilled technician, he will replace it with new one but will charge you little.

Motorla Slvr L7 Won't hold charge

It depends on how much talking your doing. The Slvr is known for its low talk-time battery power. My slvr would last about 3 to 4 days on a charge, unless i was talking on it a lot. sometimes i would be charging it every other day. So it really all depends on the talk-time. Invest in a car charger for sure.
