Yes it is recommended, because they last longer. If you put in regular batteries in you might get 12 exposures. Lithium's will give you double the exposure.

Battery

Step 1:
No just the laptop charger needs to be plugged in.

Frequent Charging Shortens Battery Life Frequent charging shortens the life span of a Lithium ion battery. Batteries should be charged only after they expend all their power. b> Switching Batteries Switching batteries helps preserve battery life: If a cell phone or computer user puts in a spare battery while separately charging the primary Lithium ion battery, that helps extend the life of both batteries. b> Removing Batteries Most laptops charge the battery when a user plugs in the AC adapter. Users can adjust this setting by changing the power options. Windows places this option in the Control Panel, while the Gnome Linux desktop places power options under "Administrative Tools". Cell phones incorporate their own power-saving features that the user usually cannot control. b> When to Replace a Lithium Ion Battery If a laptop battery does not hold a charge for more than a few minutes, a user must replace the Lithium ion battery if he wants to use the computer without an AC adapter. b> Other Ways to Extend Battery Life Storing a battery in a cool, dry environment causes a lithium-ion battery to last a little longer and reduces the frequency of needed battery replacements. Will the P110 charger charge a lithium ion battery

No, the P110, 18V NiCad battery charger, will not charge a 18V lithium ion battery. You need one of the dual-chemistry chargers. If you have the Ryobi ONE+ batteries, you can get the P117 charger ($30) or a charger with an extra battery (P126) from a store like Home Depot. A 6 battery charger and a 12V in-car charger are also available.

I wish that I had better news for you.

Cindy Wells
(who has the Ryobi 12V drill and charger, a few of the 4V tools, and a number of the ONE+ 18V devices and chargers. The single chemistry battery charger is not used much any more.)

Put battery in press on button nothing happens dose it need memory card in as well ?

This camera has 16MB of internal memory, so no card is required to make it work.

This has a rechargeable lithium battery. Rechargeable batteries don't last forever. Lithium batteries in particular can fail early if they are allowed to become totally discharged.

Are you sure the battery is charged? You don't say if this is the first time you have used this camera- if it is new, the battery will have to be charged before you use it. They are supplied new in an uncharged state.

Lost password for parental control

to be on the safe side, yo might want to go to the manufacturer's support site with this problem. i myself would carefully examine the set to see if there's a reset button, sometimes it's just a hole to stick a pen or paperclip in. next, see if there's a lithium battery in the set [just like the one for the cmos on a computer] and if so, either remove it for about thirty seconds, or momentarily short it. this will cause all settings to reset to factory default, and you'll have to re- program any settings you've made.in the unlikeky event they use a novram [non-volatile ram with a self-contained lithium battery], then it becomes much more complicated. good luck
