I have run restore disk twice...not the problem...thanks.

When I let the laptop sit off overnight and turn it on in the AM it works just fine. If I leave it on all day, no problem. If I shut it down and restart, I get bars and lines on the display (a mess). I wonder if it is a hardware malfunction? Maybe a component overheats and has to cool down or there is built up charge that has to disapate before it can reboot properly? Any other ideas?

    Thanks again. Caig

I'm not quite sure. Since it had to do with a computer{?} . It rebooted itself after being off overnight. It was okay when I started the car this morning.
