Power fault my camera turns itself on and off at random times the only way i can keep it turned off it to remove the battery is there a poosible fix for this or should i put it into a shop to be looked at, it is a great little camera when it works properly which is why i want to try and find out if this is repairable.

This is happening to mine as well. Just unplugged it from power and now it's randomly turning on and off and no way to make it stop, any ideas?

Your problem may be due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). yes it is ...what they should do if they reflash the firmware and it still does the samething what you will have to do is get them to exchange the phone for you.
