Trying to get the Asante router to speak to the router downstairs, I manually changed the ip address of the router itself. That didn't fix my problem, but now I can't configure the router anymore. The ip address you're supposed to use won't open the configuration software for the router and nothing happens when I put in the new ip address I assigned. Is there any way to reset the router back to factory defaults? Or have I just completely destroyed the router at this point?
Thanks.

Have contact? if Yes you can read the IP adress within your operating software.
READ!!
Connecting two routers to each other is not difficult but is a lot more work than only changing the IP address. Firewall/ DHCP and other settings have to be changed on both routers. You need to look this up in the manuals of your routers.

Video for a Lorex LH100DVR does not come through on our remote PC's. All other functions are ok remotely, but no video. Ports are forwarded on the router and on the firewall. Video is available on the LAN but not on the WAN. Video comes through fine for a Clover DVR in the same location. Lorex tech support can view the video but our local computers cannot and Lorex has no idea what the issue might be.
