Check to see if all your door interlocks are being made. You may have a power supply issue. I also have people test their outlet to make sure you do have power.

I cannot start my eMachine ET181003r. Every time I try to start, just hear humming sound for one second and then stop. I am not sure it is the FAN problem or not.

What you are most likely hearing is either one of the fans within the computer case, or a Hard drive. The problem could be many things and would most likely need to be inspected in person. I am sorry I cannot be of more help in this situation. Good luck!

Subwoofer Emits a Buzzing Tone

The 2200 uF capacitor in the power supply has gone bad and the humming is a 60 Hz from the rectification of AC to 18 vDC.  Either get a new power supply or take apart the power supply and replace the bad cap.

Canon Copier NP 1020 - error code E0

pretty much the same, the codes are good for several models not just one.

you need to find the other numbers to know exactly which code it is, press the start or stop key to see it display the other #'s.

fuser is on the left side if you replace the parts might as well replace the claws and oil roller.

DX-2517 AC HUM

Hi,

As you posted/described, internal work had been done at the factory then perhaps the source/cause of the AC hum is external.

If the unit is being used as a base with a regulated power supply, then the power supply has to be checked. This would include the big capacitor, the diodes and the regulator transistors. On certain occasions, loose transformer E core can also cause the hum.

There are also instances that other electrical devices can cause the hum, these can include fluorescent lamps, air purifiers, dehumidifiers and others.

In some cases, it can be loose grounding of the antenna mount or the braided/shield wire solder to the PL-250 connectors.

If it were mobile, then the antenna grounding is also a possibility. If the hum is higher than 60Hz and goes with the engine RPM, then the alternator of the vehicle has to be checked.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
