I have compaq sg3530il desktop and i want to know which graphic card is compatible with my computer ?

You must contact the manufacturer of the computer (HP) for compatibility and recommendations for a graphic card. Go to the HP website and click support and send them an email. Only the manufacturer can give you a straight answer. HP bought out Compaq several years ago, so I'm sure it would be HP to contact.

I have a Compaq presario sr1630nx and I want to

Is appears your Compaq desktop will be able to upgrade to a PCI Express graphics card.

I have provided a link to the EVGA site for you to copy and paste into your web browser to review the board specifications for compatibility with your computer as well as what operating system you have. They will work with XP, Vista or Windows 7. Also have 1GB video memory.

Hi, I have an "old" Compaq Presario 6000 desktop and just got a new Asus HD monitor. I only have 32MB of graphics and can't fully utilize this beautiful screen. what graphics card is...

Welcome to FixYa!

Regarding this particular model, this has AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) 4X expansion slot for graphics cards, I don't think it is still available in the market, you may try to purchase a good second hand graphics card for this and this is fully compatible with windows XP.
Just ask for AGP 4X compatible cards, available graphics memory will be 64 MB, 128 MB and 256 MB. Hope this helps.

Can we have external graphic card for Compaq Pres. c700?

You need to check that with the Compaq itself. Ask them what all brands of graphics cards are compatible with your computer.

thanx :-)

Upgrade graphics card for hp compaq presario S7300UK

Any PCI video card will work provided that you have the PSU to support it.

All video cards are built for different specs (i.e. cards for gaming, cards for video editing, etc) so there is no "max card" per say.

Your only limitation is that you can't run PCI-e cards which are the newer cards out there.

I want to install ati radeon 8500 in my compaq presario sg2070il

The motherboard in this computer has an 8X AGP expansion slot. You can use any video card you like as long as it is designed for an AGP socket.

Can the compaq presario S5322CC take graphic cards

If it (Motherboard) has the proper slot (AGP, PCI, or PCI express) and it matches the specifications of said card then it should be fine.

Grapics card

Most current AGP video cards are now 8X and they will still work with your motherboard but will just be limited to 4X. Trying to find a 4X might be time consuming whereas using an 8X downgraded to 4x would be comparatively easier and faster.

Additionally most Video cards will work under XP with the appropriate drivers but Vista has a limited list of compatible Video cards.

Hope that this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
