Question about Hotpoint WMA76 Front Load Washer
Just put a load into the washing machine tonight and with only 4 minutes to go it started leaking water from the door and the soap tray. After the cycle had finished, there was still water inside and the door look light came on and won't go off. I have managed to lower the water level in the machine by gently lifting the door and seal. After turning the machine off for a few minutes the lock light has gone out and I can get the washing out...but what happened and why did it leak from both the door and the tray???
Any ideas what could be the matter and how I go about fixing it would be great as I can't afford to buy a new one just yet.
You may be using too much detergent, or you have a blockage in the outlet.try putting it on to spin to drain out the water, if it does not drain then check the filter or sump hose for a blockage
