Question about Sony KV-35S26 35" TV

No Power Similar to other folks issues here...no power at all. I took back off and fuse looks to be good and test okay. Other than that nothing looks burned etc. What (and where) are key parts to check for bad solder etc? Tks.

Check the power supply for defective Q601 & Q602 and as well a fuse resistor near these transistors. Also check the horizontal transistor for a shorted condition. After repalcing the mention parts, add some new solder to the flyback transformer connections and also to a coil(s) and other components in the horizontal area.
Good Luck.

You need to isolate the failure.
first, measure the voltage (called B+ usually) on the biggest elec. capacitor in the power supply. This should be about 130-160 Vdc.
If this isn't here, then the problem is in the power input circuit.
If there, then the high-voltage supply is down. If the set is anywhere near 10 years old, then replace the flyback transformer and its transistor (H.O.T.) and go from there.
The worst case is that a power surge or something has killed the TV's brain chip and you'll have to do a board replacement.
Let me know.

After power outage front display blinking "16".

I had a similar issue where after a power outage, the player would not power up.
I removed it from power and took the cover off looking for a fuse. Could not find anything so I put the cover back on and plugged it in and it worked. My theory is the electronics needed time to fully discharge in the circuits. I would leave it unplugged for about 24 hours. I left mine unplugged for several days. I hope this helps.

I have a FLM-2632 and its completely dead, opened it up, checked all capacitors, none seemed bad, just died one day, no warning no nothing. No light, good fuse... I took the power supply board out, it has...

You, re right, the problem is most likely in a power supply. I have a similar set myself, had the same issue.
You can't get a separate supply for the set, only whole system module, what plugs in into the main unit. Too bad, it cost around $450 new, so look at discount used parts on line and find a used working power supply.
Good luck,

This is a motherboard problem. You'll need to replace it. Although, it may be cheaper just to buy a new PC (eMachines are never very expensive, or well-made for that matter)

Check for either an in-line fuse in the heating unit or a fuse on the control board also in the heating unit.
