Ive had my prada for about a month and the display just went on it. Does anyone know any easy fix for this? Or do i have to dig through LG customer service? I am overseas so they wont help me out because it is an unlocked phone. PLEASE HELP!!

Unfortunately to flash the LG Prada, you will need special hardware. It's not as easy like with flashing Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones. Regarding the date bug...it is a very common problem. Try clearing all the alarms if you have any set.
It sounds like the backlight in he LCD display has gone bad in the phone. Most displays now have an integrated backlight, so the entire display will need to be replaced. Its not considered to be a user replaceable component. Unfortunately, you'll have to take it to be repaired. The fact that you said it was "fading" before it completely went black tells me that it was going bad and about to fail.
i have the same problem, i thought it completely blacked out, but i realized it was just the main backlight. i can see it if i hold a flashlight to it, but i tried everything to fix it, and ive had no luck.
