Re: E234

The rubber tires go bad on those printers. You can buy them for about $3.50 a set and the printer will be good as new. The Lexmark part number is 56P1820. Google that part look for a good price.

Re: E234

You have a rubber roller where tray is outside!!! Just clean with moisture mop, not wet!!! clean it until you feel it's going hard!!!
That will do it!!
good luck!

Printer pick-up 2 or more paper sheets at a time followed by PAPER JAM message no matter wich tray I use

I had the same problem before and was able to track it down to the rubber coated wheel used to pull out paper sheets from the tray. Over time it gets covered with fine dust from the paper so much, it does not provide enough friction to pull out one sheet properly on the first turn. When it continues to the second revolution, it takes two sheets out of the tray.
My works-got-me fix for this problem was to clean the wheel properly with a slightly damp (not soaking wet!) cloth. Best results come from gently wiping left to right, not in direction of the wheel's rotation. You will need to rinse the cloth a few times and repeat, the paper dust has a tendency to convert to a smeary goo if it gets wet, but will come off eventually.
When the rubber wheel is clean, give it time to dry properly before use of the printer again. Try to use higher quality paper, with cheap paper the problem occurs more frequently.

My Brother MFC-7820N has trouble picking up sheets of paper

Hi! I just recently noticed that the 7820N has an "extension" piece at the back of the paper tray. This extension should be pulled all the way out and the blue paper stop adjusted accordingly. Otherwise, the loose extension piece will slide out from the rear of the printer when the tray is slammed in, and the paper will not be where the the printer expects it to be.

Other than that, check that the pad at the front of the tray is clean, and that the plastic small roller next to it rotates freely. Also, try cleaning the rubber rollers that are located inside the printer above the tray with a damp cloth.

The printer was working fine but ran out of paper. I refilled the paper tray, but now the printer will not pull the paper. I took some paper out & it will still not pull paper. HELP !!!

Take some more paper out.

If the input try is to full, the pick-up rollers can not overcome the upward pressure and fails to release and drop.

Just another thing to check, make sure the application you are using is selecting the correct printer and input source.

1320 HP Laserjet Still Won't Pick Up Paper

Please check limiters paper in tray 2 to be on A4, letter, depending on paper format. Otherwise you have problems with taking the sheet from tray 2.

Lexmark E234 Paper jam light wont go off

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

BizHub 450 Universal tray won't pick up paper

Sounds like either a loose drive connection or there is some trace piece of paper still left in the device.

BNe sure not to overload or UNDERload the tray as well.

No paper fed

Pull the paper tray out, then turn the printer on it's side. There is a mechanisim that has some rubber band type grips that pick the paper up. Pull them off, turn them inside out and put them back on. Give it another try.

Paper feed

Make sure you fan the paper before putting it in. 20 sheets is usually about right for these printers.

If you put labels in the printer. Only put a few sheet in at a time and put paper stock below them.
