Question about Disney 13" TV
My daughter received the tv and also the dvd player for her birthday. It took two days to figure out the tv and two calls to the help line for the dvd. The problem is that with the dvd you can not access the display button to shut off the parental control so every time you watch a movie you have to re enter the password. This is not user friendly for children. I talked with a tech at disney and was told they know of the problem and can not correct it. They told me hopefully the new models they make will work but the ones they are still selling can not be fixed, they will not recall them and they can not notify anyone if a solution is found. I don't have a receipt, because grandma gave it to her and i don't want to hurt her feelings, but I would strongly advise anyone who does have a receipt to return it and not purchase a disney dvd player until they correct this problem. I still can not believe that they know of this major problem and are still continuing to sell this product.
I have a high end sony universal remote that will let you program a sequence of command keys like doing it manually, this remote has a blue backlit touch keypad I lucked out and found it at a thrift store, its a godsend. we only have to hit 1 key Maybe talk to a rep at circuit city and tell him you want a universal remote where you can program the sequence, thats all I have sorry
