Question about LG RU-52SZ61D 52" TV
I had the VCR/DVD player working whereby you have to go to AV 1 for VCR to play picture and Component 2 for DVD to show picture, but last night tried to play VCR using same settings and picture did not come on, but sound did. We have an Samsung Home Theatre System which is set at AUX 2 for VCR or DVD sound.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
sounds to me like the differnence between watchiing in progressive and interlace. these older tube tv's are not capable of displaying a progressive scanned image. like the first dvd players. check your video out settings on your ipod to make sure its an interlace output.

The only way to diagnose this problem is to take the DVD out and inspect the take up rollers designed to take and eject the disc. If you hear sound when try to eject you may have a bad belt or the take up rollers are oxcided causing slipage during ejecting.
