Try to change the break pad, but the drum cannot be dis-mounted.
The drum is loose, but it seems that there is some mechanism to prevent it come out. Is this true?
Does anyone know how to dis-mount the back wheel drum to change the break pad?
Thanks.

I have an 02 focus. Something popped and later the rear tire on the drivers side began smoking. I can't get the drum off to see what happened.

hate to tell ya, but Haynes doesn't show how to. It simply says remove rear mount bolts and remove mount.

where are the bolts to remove the caliber on the rear brakes for a 2007 dodge caravan?
SOURCE: acess to rear vent window mount. mount is loose
Take apart the latch at the rear, and you should be able to swing the window open and access the screws on the hinges.

I made a puller and pulled it out. Then, I found out that problem was caused by the self gap adjuster that is malfunctioning to lock the drum.
