The bolts might be loosely fitted. So try to fit them tight

I have 2006 Jeep Commander, it's running hot. replaced the thermostat , new radiator new water pump. It's still running hot according to the gages, and is making a sound it the motor know? Knocking

You got a new therapist? Did insurance cover it? Have you gone through your entire family history with the new therapist?

TIP: check the radiator fans to make sure they're running at full speed. They're controlled by a digital speed relay that has a high failure rate.

Cooling fan motor gets hot when running high speed why

Check the bearings. If the friction is high the fan will not run at rated speed. When it runs slower it uses more current and gets hotter...

Disassemble, clean and lubricate to make sure fan runs full blast and does not burn out.

Or if the fan has two windings, one for starting and one for running it is possible that the high speed run winding has some shorts in it resulting in more current and more heat.

Why is the fan only running on low speed?

Hi David. when the air conditioning is energised by the thermostat it should automaticly bump up to high fan speed, if it has been running for a while it ciould be freezing up the evaporator and causing a restricted air flow to come out. you may need to shut the cooling mode off and just leave the fan running for a few hours. hope this helps

Fan only wobbles on high....recently 'bumped'

Check all your screws especially the set screw at top of fan that goes into rod. Blades could be warped from the water. Ball of fan not set in bracket correctly. When your buying a fan, look for blade pitch.13 degree or better is best. You shouldn't have to use the fan on high unless it's a low-end fan with a low blade pitch. It's costing you more money to run the fan on high. Sorry to get so preachy, I'm a fan dealer .

You either have a wiring problem possibly a ground rocked loose or the motor is going out.but if you press 1 while its running and it dies sounds like motor and nothing wrong with remote

hello,
the fan could have a weak coil that is ability to run fast or the capacitor is leaky, if found to be bad replace with a new one of the same rating..
Hope this will help...

Hampton bay fan makes squeeking noise

If the fan is fairly new, remove it and return it to Home Depot. It is almost certainly something that has fallen down into the motor and is rubbing loudly enough to make a squeak as the fan runs faster.

The fan itself has sealed lubrication and you don't have to lubricate it.
