Second liner

My GE 6 qt slow cooker came with two liners, the traditional stoneware and a metal liner. However, there were no instructions about when to use the metal liner. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

ApprenticeIf your slow cooker is the same model as mine (106851g), then you have a metal liner that has two identical parts - a left side and a right side. It's just so you can cook two different items at the same time, is all. Like chili in one side and queso in the other, for instance.
