Can you help with this error message: "Check connections or power. The connections for RGBHV or YPrPb may be invalid." Getting no picture for any devices connected to the screen.

There is a problem with the Component video cables and/or connection. These are the 5 RCA cables. Red, Blue, Green and two additonal cables for audio in red and white. Be sure they are connected to the proper ports on each end. Not sure what you have connected to the TV with these cables, but HDMI would be best. You also should have selected "Video" from the Input button on the tv's remote. Check these and follow up if possible.

Error message: check connections or power-the connections for RGBHV or YPrPb may be invalid. The screen is a two tone blue and is flashing.

DO NOT do anything to your Mitsubishi WD-52525 until you read this forum overseen by a Mitsubishi certified repair technician: . There has been a worldwide problem in computers and TVs over the past several years with faulty electrolytic capacitors (from Taiwan) that decay, dry out, swell and die. The power supply is often the first component to go bad, but other systems also degrade over time. As the forum explains , this problem is widespread in these sets causing multiple types of display problems after several years of use. Mitsubishi is aware of the problem and will cover most of the cost of repairing the chassis, even years out of warranty, but apparently ONLY if you get an estimate from a Mitsubishi certified repair station and contact their customer support BEFORE doing any work on the set. I just followed the recommended procedure on that forum and Mitsubishi is covering half the cost of my $700+ repair when my 3+ year-old set recently died and showed only a blue screen. I'm not sure if this is your problem, but it might be.

4yr old Mitsubishi DL 52525, HDMI input vide problem

Are you sure its the TV and not the source? Are you sure its only the HDMI port on the TV? The only reason why you must HDMI is to get 1080p and your TV doesn't support 1080p. Its supports up to 1080i. Your TV has a native resolution of 720p which means it can accept a 720p image and not need to scale it, so the picture will look the best at 720p but will support 1080i. I would use component cables to connect your sources and set them to output 720p.

The electrical chassis will need to be sent to Mitsubishi for rebuild.

Wait time: 4-8 weeks

Unable to receive input device signal

Can you post a picture of the screen so I can properly diagnose it. It sounds like the caps on the FMT PWB but a picture would help me be certain.
