Downloading photos from a digital camera

When I cut the plastic packaging around the camera (not knowing that a CD was stored within the camera packaging) I cut the CD software to download the photos. My son has since taken photos on the camera and we are unable to download them to my computer - how do we get the photos off the camera without the software disk that was provided?

The camera does not have a removable memory card

The camera is an Innovage Mini Digital Camera, smaller than a credit card that comes with an USB cable and the software disk which I accidentally cut. I did try searching using google to come up with software that would be compatible but there were none - when you go to the Innovage website they use FixYa as their customer service.

try to search for the installation in the internet explorer. use a search engines like yahoo, google, or live search, what ever you have there. and try to burn it to a dvd/cd disc. so if you need it you wont be having any problem of searching it again.

if you are too busy provide the name, brand, the whole detail of your camera.

Please indicate model and make of the camera. What type of interface is used between the camera and the PC. Is it USB? Do you have the cable that came with the camera? We need more information in order to be able to help you.

If the photo's are stored on a removable memory card, you can use a USB card reader to transfer them, without having to use the software, or have the camera connected.

This method is also MUCH faster to transfer pics anyway.

Hope this helps.

What memory card is compatible with the small freelance digital camera sold in cvs stores

The Freelance camera I found has no memory card slot. Apparently, it is a webcam that fits in a plastic housing so that it can be carried around as a still camera, too. It relies on fixed internal memory for storage and a USB 1.1/mini USB socket for downloading images off of the camera.

Can i use my jazz dvx40 camera without the installation cd?

You can use the camera without the installation CD. The CD may contain some useful photo editing program and help you download the photos from the camera to your computer using the USB cable.

If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

My CD got put in the garbage with the packaging by mistake. can I get just a CD so that I can look at my pics on the computer?

Try downloading and installing Picasa on your computer. It will help you manage all of your photos and give you some basic editing capabilities. You don't need the camera's software in order to use it well.
Happy shooting!

Internal memory full- How do I fix it

Hello. You can either transfer your pictures to a computer with a usb cable or insert a sd memory card to to store more pictures. If you have a memory card look in your menu settings for the option to copy internal memory to memory card. Another option,if you have a usb cable is to go to a photo center at a department store or drug store and plug the camera into one of thier photo machines. You can then print or copy pictures to CD. Store workers can usually help you with this.

Photos not downloading

I tested it one more time at my home on my personal pc and it worked fine. Then when I came into work today, I pluged the USB cable into the second monitor and it worked. I have no idea why it would not work the other night. It's a mystery.
