Dvd drive not working (by 2 users)

just buy a replacement cd/dvd drive. make sure to take the old drive out and take it with you to the parts store so that you match the new with the old.

depending on the store you buy it from, take the notebook with you so that you can ascertain the fit and work properly.

a good store is micro center. web site: microcenter.com. they will not charge you a dime to test the new drive. and, they have the best price.

you can buy any brand so long as the connectors are same: samsung, toshiba, sony, nec, etc.
